Lockers
Lockers are available for daily use at no charge. Padlocks are available at the Welcome Center at no charge or may be furnished by the individual. Daily use lockers are not to have locks remain on them. Permanent locker storage is available for a fee of $10 per month as part of a membership bank-draft or $120 a year.

Accommodating Special Needs
A first floor dressing room, complete with toilet facilities and a shower, is available off the pool for parents with children of opposite sex under the age of 8 (i.e., fathers bringing young daughters to swim programs, etc.). This dressing room is also available to physically challenged persons and persons with special needs. For more information and location, ask the Y Staff.
An elevator is also available for persons needing such assistance.
Child Abuse prevention
The Marshalltown YMCA-YWCA Board and staff take seriously the role of prevention. We pledge to communicate to all staff and volunteers that we are serious about preventing child abuse or accusations of child abuse. The Marshalltown YMCA-YWCA takes a zero-tolerance stance on child abuse.
Weather Cancellation Information
The Marshalltown YMCA-YWCA takes the safety of members and staff very seriously. Each inclement weather situation is evaluated by management staff on a case by case basis. Every effort is made to keep the building open if the roads in Marshalltown are passable.
